My apples are in bloom - after waiting almost 4 years!! Ive never smelled them before they are beautiful - we lived in South Florida for a long time and know the smell of orange blossoms well, but these look a lot like the beautiful Dogwoods the are blooming right now and smell Heavenly! exciting times for being patient and waiting on these beauties

I have slowly been taking a few of my babies outdoors as the evening are cool, and the days are warming, to Harden them off some

We had a lot of rain today, so I wasn't able to get out an do stuff in the garden, but got a few bags of topsoil to start my beds out front that David built for me, I am kind of doing a trial and error with the top soil and the pea pebbles to see how it works and looks. The topsoil is the bagged version of what I want to use for the rest of the new bed out front, I am trying it out with some nasturtium seeds, green bean starts that are ready to go out and some cucumber starts that are also ready for planting.

I have my mini 'indoor greenhouse' in my basement, that has my tropicals and a selection of other plants I bring indoors in the winter. With the weather warming, I am slowly moving them outdoors, and a few are gonna make it into my new front yard garden. possibly the banana and the mini palm. It was really wet out today, but warm with some thunderstorms, so thought it was a good day for a good soaking and getting ready for outdoors.

Our neighborhood is really beautiful and coming into full bloom, we had Abby's 13th birthday party at one of our neighborhood parks this weekend, and it was a good excuse to go exploring in the woods and the creek and see what is blooming.

The girls had a blast in the creek with all the slime and treasures they found.

Lastly, my animal loving girl has been saving up to replace a pet she lost a few years back - this is Pablo Picasso Gray, Abby new parakeet and addition to her room, she loves animals, and I am sure he will be trained in no time.
